The kind of rulers they had were called Pharaohs the people of Egypt considered their Pharaohs to a be half human and half god. The people did not had any rights they had to follow what their judge said or their kings said. Also in 332 B.C.E., Egyptian women were allowed more rights and privileges than Greek women, who were forced to live under the less equal Greek system.The husbands could marry more than one wife. Some times people could merry their relatives like their sisters ,brothers and their cousins.The kids were not aloud to pick their life partners their parents picked their life partner.As the unified state in the old kingdom was firmly established, the king’s authorities grew wider. Consequently, the royal court and the status and terms of reference of court staff gained more importance ranging from religious, civil, judicial and military duties. The crimes where solved in the kingdom so that was their court.When the criminal told the truth they were asked to swear on an oath that they were telling the truth.Pharaohs ruled and the decisions were made by Priests and government officials. There were also governors and mayors. Science Nile was the rich place the Egyptians organized them self into 2 different governments.They were called the Upper kingdom and the Lower kingdom. Geography

Egypt was located in Northern Africa Bordering the Mediterranean Sea, Between Lyba, and the Gaza Strip. near the Red Sea and Near a Nile place called Black land also known as Kemet. Egypt is still called Egypt. The Nile river let the Egyptians trade by water and the land let them walk places to trade to. The land around the Egyptians was 90% desert. The Egyptians were not geographically isolated from other civilizations because they could go over the water by boat.And they could walk to the other civilizations by foot. Egypt was near the Nile River,the Red Sea,the Mediterranean Sea.

Time Period

The ancient civilization of Egypt first began an civilization over years ago. Around 3150 B.C upper and lower were united. The Egypt civilization was at its peak. During the Old Kingdom 2700-2200 BC The Egyptians were also at their peak at the 4Th dynasty when kings were able to put their energies in to art , and also at the 6Th dynasty when records of trading expeditions have been discovered. The Egyptians were around for over 3,000 years. The Egyptian Civilization fell in 642 A.D. when the Arabs completed their conquest of the Egyptian civilization.

Rise and Fall

The civilization raised and fell because the Egyptian empire fell because of many combining factors, chief among them were external influences and powers. Mark Antony (who was a roman general) left his post with Rome and 'ran off with' Cleopatra.The Roman Empire did not like this so they invaded Egypt and it became a mere province in their mighTty empire. Egypt did not conquer any other civilizations because they were a peaceful civilization . The Egyptian civilization was conquered 4 times from 670 BCto 642 AD.They were conquered 3 times By Rome because the Nile provided them food. Then Octavian took Cleopatra from Egypt.There golden age was around 479 BC . They might have not stayed in power in a different location because there might have been more powerful people and more land.


Social Classes and Slavery

During the Egyptian times the slaves were at the very lowest in rites and the Pharaohs were at the top they were considered gods in the community and the farmers had rites but very little. slavery was apart of this civilization and almost every rich house hold had a slaves.the cities were built using forced labor they were built by slaves and commoners. the slavery in the cities was not a racial thing if you were born in to a family of slaves then you would be slave and your kids would be slaves and on and on.The practice of slave's did end at some time but there were slaves for thousand's of years.

Religion


They believed in gods but they had gods for everything like Sun grain death , farming , and many more. They were polytheistic their were many believer's of god infect the whole civilization believed that their were many types of gods.Their religion and government was combined they treated their pharaohs like a god.Yes they believed in after death the Egyptians taught that the soul left the body at the death but it rejoined to the body and stayed their through out the eternity.So the Egyptians mummified their dead to preserve their bodies from decay and to give the soul a home.

Art and Architecture

Music helped them write books, the paintings would help them in the after life, it would also show them their beliefs of the scenes that would come in the next world. The main forms of art is paintings, large stone structures of pyramids, temples made up of limestone, and they built temples to resemble plants. Their architecture is like resembling plants and the afterlife. The structures they are best known for is temples and pyramids. People can learn about the afterlife and the new world through ancient Egyptian art.

Economy

The role that made trade made on Egypt was it made people think that they were the first people to travel across the ocean. The ancient Egyptians used animals for a lot of things like used animals like seals for stamping documents. The major trading products in ancient Egypt are gold,silver,copper,papyrus,and the most important was grain. Their geography location affected their ability to trade because there might have been more power where their other location could be. Yes, their economy was based on a system of social classes because, their economy was that the public life was the Royal domain of men, that is, the whole complex of government, the civil service, the army, the trades and professions.

Technology

One of Egypt's many innovations was the water clock and they also were one of first civilizations who made fire.The Nile River overflowed once a year which acted as a large irrigation system.They made roads with Basalt and made temples with limestone. The buildings were made of bricks made of mud and straw.
